It’s now easier than ever to add your Square transactions into QuickBooks!
Here are the steps:
- Start in your Square account.
- Under Sales, click on Transactions.
- Choose the transactions you’d like to export, then click on Export, Transactions CSV. You’ll find a downloaded file on your computer.
- Back in QuickBooks, navigate to File, Import, Transactions, then Sales Receipts.
- From the Import Sales Receipts window, click on the Square icon at the top left.
- Select the file you downloaded from Square. Then, choose the bank account that’s associated with your Square account and where the funds are deposited. Finally, select the associated Tax Rate for these transactions.
- Now, click OK.
- Click on the Import button to populate your transactions in QuickBooks. QuickBooks lets you know how many transactions have been imported.
- To view your new Square transactions, navigate to the Transaction Center, then Sales Receipts.
